Product Description

Vintage banded agate (chalcedony) handled two piece carving set, in the original presentation box, unknown maker, attributed to Continental Europe.  The steel fork tines and knife blade are tightly fitted to the banded agate handles with steel ferrules.  The carving fork is pristine, while the carving knife blade shows some wear, consistent with age and use.  The set is sturdy and usable. 

The carving fork is 10 1/2” (26.7cm) long.

The carving knife is 12 1/4” (31cm) long.

The box is 13 1/4” (33.7cm) by 4 1/4” (10.8cm), 1 1/4” (3.2cm) high.
