Product Description

William IV sterling silver Christening cup.  English hallmarks for London 1832 by the silversmith Charles Fox II, son of the silversmith Charles Fox I.  The father and son London silversmiths produced silver items circa 1804-40.

Designed with a slightly flared rim over a bulbous lower body, rising from a pedestal foot, with a S scroll handle.  The original gilt interior is intact.
