Product Description

Antique brown transfer ware platter of the Dufferin Terrace promenade in Quebec City, circa 1880.  This series was made by Britannia Pottery in Glasgow, Scotland for retail by F.T. Thomas in Quebec.  Thomas was the only Canadian 19th century merchant to commission china with Canadian topographical views.  More information on this pattern can be found at www.thecanadasite.com under Great Canadian Historical Platters 1835-1900.
The measurements are 15 7/8" by 12 3/4".
