Art Deco Chinese Export silver box in 900 Fine Silver, circa 1930.

From the silversmith firm of Hung Chong & Co. of Canton and Shanghai, active circa 1860-1930.  The cedar lined box has a peen, or finely hammered finish, emulating the texture of orange peel.  The cover has a central oval engraved “Robin”, which could be covered with a plaque of the same shape and size.
