Product Details

Chinese Export silver condensed milk holder, 900 Fine Silver, circa 1900.  From the silversmith firm of Hung Chong & Co. of Canton and Shanghai, active circa 1860-1930.  The body and handle has an orange peel (finely hammered) textured finish, with a blank central roundel suitable for a presentation engraving or monogram.  With a glass liner; 21st century uses include a jam or honey pot.

5” (12.7cm) high, 7 1/2” (19cm) high with the handle up, 3 1/4” (8.3cm) diameter.
