Royal Crown Derby Cup
This beautifully painted and gilded Royal Crown Derby Cup has an extraordinary provenance. Dating to c. 1897, it was made as a wedding gift to the duchess of Fife who was Queen Victoria’s daughter. The most recent owner was the daughter of Timothy Eaton. The cup is cobalt blue with jewelled bordered panel decorations on gold, one side with fruit, the other with floral. It sits 14cms (5.5 inches) tall.
