Art Nouveau Royal Crown Derby ewer, Osmaston Road factory, date marks for 1892.   

Gilded decoration to represent a columbine type flower, leaves and stem.

The handle is of a naturalist form representing a vine.

The yellow ground is rare as it was unstable in the kiln and hard to fire to a consistent quality.  

9” high, 5 1/2” diameter.
