Minton Majolica Figural Group c.1865

Minton Majolica figural group of two putti carrying a barrel, supported on a mottled green base.  The putti are carrying the rope handle in one hand with the excess rope wrapped around the other wrist.  Both putti have a green headdress cascading down their bodies.  One of the headdresses is of ivy and the other is of wheat sheaves.

The base of the rim is clearly identified as Minton with the date stamp symbol for 1865.  

It is in excellent condition with no repairs.
