Victorian Hand Painted Cabinet Plates of Wild Flowers & Butterflies

Victorian era hand painted cabinet plates depicting close up scenes of wild flowers and butterflies.  

The trademark is the Pirkenhammer shield mark used 1887-1890 by Fischer & Mieg of Pirkenhammer, a Bohemian village near Karlovy Vary, present day Carlsbad, Czech Republic.  The Wahlifs Wien painted mark is for Ernst Wahlifs, a renowned porcelain retailer in Vienna.

The plates range in size from 8 3/4 to 9” in diameter.
