Vintage Bing & Grondahl figurine “The Cobbler” # 2228P.

Designed by Axel Locher (1879-1941).  Locher was hired to sculpt figurines for Bing & Grondahl in 1897.  His specialty was in depicting country life and agricultural subjects.

5” (12.5cm) by 6 1/4” (16cm) at the base, 8 1/2” (21.5cm) high.
