William IV Scottish sterling silver cream jug.  Fully hallmarked for Edinburgh 1832. 

The silver smith is Elder & Co.

The jug is beautifully decorated in repousse relief.  The panels on the lower register depict 8 different flowers without repeat.  The interior has the original gilding.

5 3/4” (14.5cm) high, 6 1/4” (16cm) across the spout to handle.
