Victorian English Riding motif condiment set, dated 1869.

Made by the firm of Richard Hodd & William Linley of London, England.  This partnership existed between 1862 and 1872.  

The registration date of the design is for 1865.

5 3/4” (14.5cm) by 4 1/8” (10.5cm) overall at the base, 3 5/8” (9.2cm) high.

The up-turned riding helmet is the salt cellar and the boots are the pepper shaker and mustard pot.  The mustard spoon is in the form of a riding crop.  The handle of the condiment set is in the shape of a spur. The cover of the mustard pot has a presentation engraving of:
