A beautiful Edwardian 18kt yellow gold and red enamel lapel watch featuring 29 rose and old cut diamonds, est. 0.22ct(SI clarity & I-J-K colour); 76 slightly rosy white seed pearls, approx. 1.8-2.0mm. The watch is unsigned, approx 26.0mm with a white dial, blue Arabic numerals, black steel hour and minute hands. There is a subsidiary second hand dial at 6 o'clock. The back of the watch has a checkerboard design. The watch is suspended and can be detached from a ribbon shaped chatelaine that has a chain safety pin. The enamel and the crystal exhibit wear, consistent with its age. Engraved on the concealed dust cover is "From Donald to Venie Xmas 1903"
