Georg Jensen “Pyramid” sterling silver flatware set for 12.  The Art Deco era, Egyptian pyramid influenced flatware pattern was designed by Harald Nielsen * for Georg Jensen circa 1927.

The set consists of :

12 dessert forks 6 1/4” 

12 luncheon forks 7” 

12 luncheon knives 8 7/8”

12 cream soup spoons 6 1/4”

12 large teaspoons, 5 1/2”

$13,440 for the set of 12 place settings (60 pieces).

* Nielsen was a younger brother of Georg Jensen’s 3rd wife, joining the silver firm in 1909.  Through the 1920s and 30s he was Jensen’s leading designer and closest colleague.  In 1958 Nielsen became a director of the company and remained an artistic consultant until 1967.
