10 1/2” (26.6cm) diameter, 3” (7.6cm) high.

* The pattern originated in a Royal Crown Derby pattern book dated 1932 by Albert Gregory, a well known porcelain painter of the early 20th century who worked for both Minton and Royal Crown Derby.  The inspiration is from an embroidery pattern, featuring multiple birds of paradise and peacocks with dramatic tail feathers.  The pattern was produced in pink, red, green, blue, black and in a multi-colour version called Old Avesbury.  Gold Aves was introduced in 1961.
