Helena Wolfsohn hand painted porcelain demi-tasse cup and saucer. Helena was the successor to the company started by her father, originally under the name of L. Meyer & Sohne in 1843. The company did not produce porcelain, they had items produced for them and were decorated by Wolfsohn. This Augustus Rex (AR) mark was used for a very short period of time (1879-1881) as Meissen took them to court over imitating their trademark.
The saucer is 4 1/4” by 3 1/2”.
The cup is 1 1/2” high.
