One 14 karat yellow gold US Naval Academy ring. The solitaire ring is highlighted by one bezel-set oval cabochon jade (1.22 carats). The ring has the following on one shoulder “Eagle over frigatewith the year 1928.” On the other shoulder: “US Naval Academy” and Ex Scientia Tridens - (...from knowledge, seapower...). The ring size is 7. The name or intials of the recipent are not inscribed on the inside of the ring. The maker's mark (double struck) appears to be B B & B - Bailey Banks & Biddle. It is mostly like a class ring; but might be a sweetheart ring.
