Product Description

Decorated with mold relief garlands and ribbons in celadon green and pink, from which classical cameo portraits hang.  The garlands connect to wreaths on the side that are hanging from the mouths of lions.  Decorated with hand painted sprays of flowers and butterflies. Gilded outlining throughout.

The piece is marked with the KPM under glaze cobalt blue sceptre mark and the overglaze red orb stamp denoting floral painting and figurative scenes.

German, early 20th century.

There is restoration at the base of the urn.

14” high, 8” diameter.
