A wonderful 15kt yellow gold Latharna Masonic Lodge, No. 375 Larne, Northern Ireland Founders Medal. The medal has a red enamel center with a harp logo and a shamrock on either side of the frame. A blue enamel banner runs below it with the words LATHARNA MASONIC LODGE No. 375 LARNE. A faded light blue ribbon is suspended from it with a heart shaped gold medal engraved with the following inscription - "PRESENTED TO BRO. W.A.JONES W.M. BY THE MEMBERS OF THE LODGE 1908.". Suspended from this is a compass and square, within which is a stylized G pendant. The medal is accompanied by a fitted red leather box printed on the outside in gold "BRO. W.A. JONES W.M. LATHARNA MASONIC LODGE No. 375 LARNE" and on the inside of the box "POLLOCK BROTHERS, JEWELLERS, LARNE". The ribbon exhibits wear. It is our understanding that the LARNE LODGE No. 375 closed in 2010.
