Royal Crown Derby covered cabinet vase.   Aesthetic Movement, English, circa 1891.

The urn has an ivory background colour with under glaze blue and rust red flowers.  The floral motif on the cover is embossed so as to be fully dimensional.  The gilding on the upper register has raised daisy type florets scattered in between the larger blue and red blossoms.  There is some loss to the gilding.
