Royal Crown Derby covered cabinet urn, in the “Persian” pattern, circa 1880.  Made for Tiffany & Co., New York.

This piece is marked by Derby, Osmaston Road Factory in the period of 1877-90.

Overall decoration in three continuous panels of stylized lilies, leaves, dragonflies and bees.  

Turquoise, cobalt, orange and Derby red against a cream background with gilding in a cloisonné fashion.

14” high, 9” diameter.
