Product Description

SPM white porcelain inkwell in the Rococo style, circa 1880-1900.

Produced by Schmeisser Porzellan Manufaktur, Eisenberg, Germany.  

SPM was in business from 1865 to about 1910.  

The inkwell is on the back left, the lion is the cover of the stamp box, the pounce pot is on the back right.  The elaborate shell depression in the front is the pen rest.

10 3/4” (27cm) by 8” (20cm), 4 1/2” (11.5cm) high.
