Victorian figural silver plate napkin ring/bud vase, made by Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co.,

 #024.  American, circa 1885-90.

The figural napkin ring is composed of a butterfly resting on the ring, a morning glory form bud vase, and a Japanese fan on a rectangular base.  

Ten of the napkin rings are of a simple form, engraved with a single letter in Script.

The letters are:  A D E F G H I J K L.

Two of the napkin rings have a design of a bird and cherries on either side of a diagonal panel suitable for engraving.

One napkin ring as found.  The butterfly on the ring engraved "G" is missing one wing.

3 3/8” (8.5cm) high.
