Victorian Royal Crown Derby Aesthetic Movement covered cabinet vase.

Gilded in the manner of Japanese lacquer in tones of red, green and gold on a cream colour background.  Depicting bearded iris and sunflowers.

Made for retailers W.P. & c. Phillips, Oxford St., London, circa 1890.

16” high, 9” diameter.  There is restoration to the lid.
