Product Description

Victorian silver plated pedestal/bowl centrepiece, featuring swans.  The repousse style rectangular bowl is supported on a central Doric column, which in turn is on a plateau raised on bracket feet.  The plateau is ornamented with four swans, one in each corner. The bowl and plateau have a pie crust style rim.

Trademarked for James Deakin & Sons of Matilda Street, Sheffield, England, 

circa 1886-1897.  

10 1/2” (26.6cm) by 8” (20.3cm), 9” (22.9cm) high.
