Victorian sterling silver tea and coffee service, trademarked G & W, made for Tiffany & Co., New York.
The partnership of Charles Grosjean and Eli Woodward started in Boston in 1840. They worked in New York from 1852-62. Their trademark is found on many silver items sold through Tiffany & Co., circa 1852-53.
The set is crested and initialled.
The 5 piece service is comprised of a teapot, coffee pot, cream jug, sugar bowl and waste bowl.
