A wonderful vintage 18kt white gold ring topped by a yellow gold and platinum insect that has spring loaded wings covering an opening in the case that once enclosed a tiny watch movement. The ring is set with 34 single cut diamonds, est 0.60; 2 round faceted mixed cut rubies, approx. 1.3mm each and 18 elongaed green cabochon stones (origin unknown). The enamel on its head and body exhibits wear.
