Wedgwood  “Ruby Tonquin”, pattern # 2488.  Designed by John E. Goodwin, the Artistic Director of Wedgwood circa 1902-34, produced 1930-90.  The richly detailed pattern features intricate floral blooms intricately detailed in gilding against a ruby red background.
