Late Georgian era Sheffield silver plate wine bottle coasters, English, circa 1820-40.

An elegant baluster shape with a gadroon border.  The copper base metal is showing on the high points; what Sheffield enthusiasts refer to as “bleeding”.

The pair are without monograms or presentation engravings.

A charming pair ready for another century of service!
