Victorian silver plate and cut crystal biscuit barrel, English, circa 1890.

The oval cut crystal interior of the biscuit barrel is fitted into the electroplated frame.

The cover is decorated in the manner of the Aesthetic Movement, with an asymmetrical design of flowers, foliage and butterflies.

7 1/4” (18.4cm) high, 9 1/4” (23.5cm) high to the top of the handle,

8 1/2” (21.6cm) by 5 1/2” (14cm) at the base.
